Elesavet (Ellie) Stathopoulos founded Elesavet Cosmetics in February 2020 when she was 16. With a strong passion for makeup and business, Ellie wanted to make the "perfect" lip gloss with beneficial ingredients, vibrant color, and high shine. With much trial and error, Ellie finally formulated the perfect lip gloss with luxurious and advantageous additives. Ellie initially started selling her lip glosses in her class lounge at her high school. With much demand from friends and family, she created her website. She branded and marketed her products across different social media platforms and her website using her ideas and concepts, and eventually started making more products. Following lip glosses came lip scrubs, lip balm, lip oil, body care products, skin care products, and other cosmetics, all based on making high-quality, beautiful, and beneficial products. Elesavet Cosmetics believes in sticking true to natural ingredients and also providing high-quality products at an affordable price. 

Since starting in 2020, Elesavet Cosmetics has fulfilled over 500 orders. Elesavet Cosmetics was also a vendor at the 2022 and 2023 Rochester Greek Festivals, selling and displaying all of her products. Elesavet Cosmetics has also been a vendor at the Lucky Flea Market in Rochester, NY. As of 2025, Elesavet Cosmetics is primarily a beauty and wellness blog, selling products by special request only. Ellie Stathopoulos, the founder and owner, is a University of Minnesota Twin Cities graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology of Law, Criminology, Justice, and Business Law. She currently works full-time at a law firm in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, and plans on attending law school in the near future.
