Welcome Post

Welcome to my first ever post on my blog! I started Elesavet Cosmetics back in 2020 when I was just 16 years old, making and selling my own handmade lip glosses, lip balms, lip scrubs, body care products, skin care products, and other cosmetic products. What was a hobby turned into a “business venture”, with me selling lip glosses to my friends at school, then starting my own website and shipping products both nationally and internationally, and even selling my products at festivals and flea markets. However, when I started my business, I had no end in sight - I had no idea what 5 years of my business would look like! Managing my business and continuing to make products became harder and harder as I started college, and I suspect it will become 10x more difficult once I start a 9-5. However, I don’t want to give up what I’ve built, so I have recently decided to transform Elesavet Cosmetics into a beauty and wellness blog/site. I have gained many insights in the cosmetics industry and about what products and ingredients are good for you, so I want to create a platform where I can share those insights and collaborate with others to hear theirs. I plan on writing various different posts on all things beauty and wellness. I am excited for this next chapter of Elesavet Cosmetics and am hopeful I can still have the same interactions with all of you that I’ve had before.
